Graciela M. Vansevicius

 

  Ms. Graciela Vansevicius specializes in tax law.

Ms. Vansevicius has worked on highly complex and important transactions advising national and multinational companies on tax and customs matters. She has broad
experience in tax design issues for companies and individuals, both on a national and international basis; she has been involved in a number of merger transactions, sale and purchase of companies and business contracts. She has considerable experience in decision-making processes aiming at the solution of existing tax matters, as well as in providing tax advice to avoid future controversies or lessen those resulting from past actions.

As in-house tax advisor of the Panam Group (1993-2002), Ms. Vansevicius managed the holding company, the controlled and related companies, as well as the integral tax aspects of their national and foreign corporate and individual shareholders. In addition, she was formerly senior accountant in the Tax Department of Price Waterhouse & Co. (1989-1992).

 

Ms. Vansevicius was a teaching assistant of "Tax Theory and Technique II" at the School of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires. At present, she teaches the tax law module of the course "International Business Law" in the postgraduate degree of "International Business" at the School of Law of Universidad Católica Argentina.

Graduated from the School of Economics of the University of Buenos Aires, Ms. Vansevicius received the degree of Certified Public Accountant in 1989. She took postgraduate courses in Tax Law at the University of Salamanca, Spain, in 2000.

Ms. Vansevicius is a member of the Professional Council of Economics of the City of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the Argentine Fiscal Association and the International Fiscal Association (IFA), as well as of the Tax Law Commission of the Argentine Fiscal Association and the Tax Commission on Income and Net Worth Taxes of the above Professional Council.

Ms. Vansevicius is fluent in English, both oral and written.
